DRAFT for review by a lawyer. This is not legal advice and not yet our final text. Last updated 2026-10-30.

KRUN is a free game for everyone, including kids. We collect as little as we can: no account, no email, no chat, no ads, no trackers.

The short version

What stays on your device

The game saves a player name (made up for you, like Player123) and your settings (sound, controls, graphics, accessibility) in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them.

What reaches our servers

When you play online, your browser connects to our game server (run on Cloudflare) and sends your player name and your inputs (movement, aim, shots) so the match can run. Other players in the room see your name and what you do in the match. When everyone leaves a room, the room and everything in it is gone; we keep no match history.

Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the page and protect against abuse. Those logs are kept briefly by the provider under its own policy. We do not store IP addresses ourselves.

Children

KRUN is made to be safe for children: nothing personal is asked, nothing can be typed to other players, and there is nothing to buy. See the page for parents.

Your choices

You can play offline against bots only (the game does this by itself if our server can't be reached). You can delete everything the game keeps on your device by clearing the site's data in your browser. Questions or requests: hello@krun.io.
